Scar Tissue – Anthony Kiedis

Ah yes, the 80’s in Southern California – punks and parties, clubs and parties, and both the the best and the worst of music.

Oh, boy did I love readingt Scar Tissue! Saw the RHCP’s on Boston, late 90’s  in a small theatre. Always loved and related to their music without really knowing why. This book was like being on a love roller coaster, such a ride. There were times when it did know of make me sick – the addiction, death, and damaging relationships. The stories are told in such detail, I didn’t know thats someone who was so consistently high would have such self awareness or memory of their actions. Apparently Anthony Kedis could take vast amounts of mind altering substances and years later tune into them and write them down.
